Welcome to Saturday! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Saturday mobile application (the "App") and our website (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Saturday

‍Saturday is a free social calendar app that helps you see and share your Saturday plans with close friends. You can add friends, accept requests, and view each other's Saturday events to make your weekends better.

2. Who Can Use Saturday

‍You must be at least 13 years old to use the app. By using Saturday, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

3. Your Account

‍To use Saturday, you must create an account by providing your first name, a profile image, your phone number, and access to your phone contacts. We use this contact access only to help you find friends who also use Saturday.

4. Privacy

‍Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Your Content

‍You can add events to your Saturday calendar, including event names, locations, and start times. Only your approved friends can see your plans. You are responsible for any content you share on the Service.

6. Acceptable Use You agree not to:

• Use Saturday to share harmful, threatening, harassing, defamatory, or obscene content
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
• Interfere with the security or performance of the Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

7. Intellectual Property

‍Saturday owns the content, design, and code of the app and website. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our intellectual property without our permission.

8. Third-Party Services

‍We use third-party services such as AWS, Mixpanel, and Supabase to provide the app. By using the app, you acknowledge and agree to their terms as well.

9. No Warranty

‍Saturday is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or always available.

10. Limitation of Liability

‍To the fullest extent permitted by law, Saturday is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service.

11. Arbitration

‍Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis. You waive your right to participate in class actions.

• Profile photo
• Phone number
• Access to your phone contacts (to show you which friends are using Saturday)
• Saturday event data (event name, start time, and location)

2. How We Use Your Info

‍We use your information to:

• Create your account and display your profile to approved friends
• Help you find and connect with friends
• Show your Saturday plans to approved friends
• Send you push notifications to remind you to add or view plans
• Analyze app usage using Mixpanel and Supabase

3. What We Don’t Do

• We do not track your precise or approximate location
• We do not sell your data
• We do not show your plans to anyone unless you’ve added them as a friend and they’ve accepted

4. Data Storage & Security

‍We use AWS, Mixpanel, and Supabase to store and process data securely. We take reasonable steps to protect your information.

5. Sharing Your Info

‍We don’t share your info with advertisers or third parties outside of our trusted service providers (AWS, Mixpanel, Supabase).

6. Children Under 13

‍Saturday is not intended for children under 13. If we learn we’ve collected info from a child under 13, we’ll delete it.

‍We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We’ll notify you of any significant changes.
